Between beach and dunes
Surroundings Roompot Noordzee Résidence Cadzand-Bad
From the park you can walk to the beach of Cadzand-Bad in 15 minutes and enjoy some time by the sea. Don your walking boots or get on your bike and explore everything Zeeland has to offer - you can even cycle to Belgium in no time at all. Along the way you'll see landscapes of polders, dykes and creeks, salt marshes and mud flats. Finally, a visit to Zeeland is not complete without sampling local specialities, including bolus pastries and fresh asparagus.
Cadzand-Bad beach
Splash in the sea and look for the most beautiful shells, Cadzand-Bad beach has been named the cleanest in the Netherlands. With its fine sands and beautiful dunes, it's a great place to be.
Drowned Zwarte Polder
The Zwarte Polder became the Drowned Zwarte when it flooded in 1802. Part of it was re-dyked and is now a nature reserve. This varied area, featuring beach, dunes and thickets, is a habitat for many bird and plant species.
Knokke

Het Zin nature reserve
This dynamic nature reserve, brimming with dunes, salt marshes and polders, ensures plenty of variety. It is also a renowned discovery site of 40-million-year-old shark teeth, with a walking trail along the seawall and beaches.
Bruges
Chocolate fans can’t believe their luck, with over 50 chocolatiers in historic Bruges. Since the city has managed to preserve its aura, buildings and squares, it is no surprise that the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Portal of Flanders
For those who are fascinated by the behind-the-scenes workings of a major port, the Portal of Flanders is not to be missed. Book a tour at the port information centre and learn more about the role of the harbour master and daily freight traffic.
Boudewijn Sea Park
The Boudewijn Sea Park is the domain of dolphins and seals, which you can watch underwater through a see-through wall. Don't forget to visit the attraction area too, which boasts a rollercoaster and water slides.
Lock
The only Belfry (with museum) in the Netherlands is in Sluis. Climb the tower, go shopping and end your day with a snack on one of the terraces. The historic city walls are an attraction here, as is the market, which is held every Friday.
