Enjoy a terrace in Alkmaar

About 20 km from the holiday park, you will find yourself in a lovely town, with plenty of local trinkets, nice terraces, and the best cheese: Alkmaar, a place well worth visiting. Tip: on the way back, drive through picturesque Heerhugowaard and visit the polder museum.

Mountain biking in the Schoorl dunes

If you drive to Bergen, you will be able to see the dune tops in the distance. The trees grow at an angle due to the west wind. This place offers many playful activities. The well-maintained mountain bike trail from Schoorl is perfect for enthusiastic mountain bikers who like to be challenged by tree roots and sandy areas.

Colourful bulb fields

Throughout the year, North Holland is a wonderful holiday destination. But if you visit in April or May, you will find an extra colourful scene! The region has numerous bulb fields where crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips bloom beautifully during spring. A Dutch explosion of colours that makes a visit to the region well worthwhile.
