Surroundings Holiday park Miggelenberg
Landal Miggelenberg lies in the heart of the Veluwe forest. Walk straight from your detached bungalow into the forest and you might just spot a wild boar, red deer or roe deer, or see the most wonderful Van Goghs in the Kröller-Müller Museum. Want a little more action? Go monkey-watching at Apenheul or take a trip to the Julianatoren.
De Hoge Veluwe National Park
Nature, art and architecture come together in this national park. Explore the park during a bicycle or hiking trip or visit the Kröller-Müller Museum or the underground Museonder museum.
Apenheul
A unique place where various species of monkeys roam freely. The caretaker will be happy to tell you more about these special animals at feeding time. Watch out for your things: the monkeys can be cheeky.

Netherlands Open-air museum
Experience history in the Dutch Open-air Museum. Visit the grounds, farms, houses, mills and the farmhouse cafe. Travel by historic tram or walk. Children can play at the Kindererf (children’s farm).
Burgers' Zoo
Explore various continents, go on a discovery tour and play just like the monkeys. Walk through the Burgers' Bush and admire the rainforest. Then submerge yourself in the splendour of the underwater world in Burgers' Ocean.
Veluwe climbing forest
A visit to this climbing fest is a great day out for young and old. Challenging bridges, nets, sturdy vines and spectacular zip lines. The Junior Climbing Forest is geared towards smaller visitors. The sky’s the limit.

Beekbergerwoud
The Beekbergerwoud was once the last old-growth forest in the Netherlands until pastures replaced it. Natuurmonumenten (Dutch Society for Nature Conservation) began restoring the area and is attempting to bring back some of that fairy-tale wildness.
Deventer
Deventer is one of the country’s oldest cities, which also makes it home to the oldest stone house in the Netherlands. The historical ambiance makes it a wonderful shopping locale with a pleasant atmosphere and a wide range of shops.
Julianatoren
Experience a fun day out at the Juliana Tower family amusement park. The park offers more than 60 fantastic attractions and shows. Enjoy a ride in the Mega Mouse swing and jump as high as you can in Jul's Bungee Trampolines.

Castle ter Horst
Tucked away in the woods near Loenen, this beautiful estate is a hidden gem. If you drive a little further, the castle with its historical coach houses looms up as in a fairy-tale. It is truly worth a visit.
Old Crafts and Toys Museum
Travel back to a time before electricity when most work was still done by hand, featuring a collection of over 150 crafts, trades and shops. In addition to the crafts, the museum also displays a collection of old and antique toys.
Ouwehands Zoo
Take a look at the pandas, the bears in the Bear Forest or take a break in the restaurant, so you can then climb and jump around in RavotAapia, the largest indoor play jungle in Europe!
