Gouda
The world-famous Gouda cheese is traded every Thursday at the traditional cheese market in the historic city centre. The city is also the birthplace of the original ‘stroopwafel’ (treacle waffle). There is plenty see and do in and around the narrow streets, canals and picturesque courtyards!
