Accessibility
There is an hourly ferry to Texel from Den Helder, provided by TESO. You do not need to book a date or time slot for this service. However, you can buy a return ticket here and register your car or other means of transport for automatic access. Check the website for fares and current information on the ferry service.
If you take your car on the island, you can park in the paid parking areas on Texel with the Texel e-vignette. Check the website for more information and online ordering. Without this vignette, you pay € 2.50 per hour at the ticket machine. At the park, you can park your car at or near the accommodation (depending on the type chosen). The specific number of parking spaces per accommodation can be found in the accommodation characteristics. Additional cars can be parked in the central car park.
There are no central charging stations at the park to charge your electric car, but some accommodation has its own charging station. Check the characteristics of the accommodation to see whether it has its own charging station.
From Den Helder NS railway station, a Connexxion bus (line 33) leaves for the Veerhaven at 12 minutes past the hour. The line service only runs regular departures. A Texelhopper bus (line 28) is available on Texel. This will take you via Den Burg to De Koog. Your OV-chipcard is not valid on this line. Arrival and departure
Upon arrival at the park, you can immediately drive to your accommodation. Open your accommodation with the digital key in the Landal app.
You can of course use the park facilities before this time. Or discover the surroundings of the park.
You are of course very welcome at the park facilities for the rest of the day.
We ask you to leave the accommodation broom clean, take away the rubbish, clear out the dishwasher and collect the bedding.
Good to know
You can use free Wi-Fi throughout the park.
Pets are welcome on the park and in some of our accommodation. Check the accommodation features or select your pet(s) in the travel group to see which accommodation allows one or more pets. On the park you must keep your dog on a lead, unless indicated otherwise.
