These and many other activities await you! You can collect your guest card at reception in the park.

The region is a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. In the largest contiguous forest landscape in central Europe, idyllic paths run through dense woodlands, past crystal-clear lakes and over rolling hills. Hiking enthusiasts can conquer 8,000-metre peaks, undertake challenging summit tours or explore Germany's longest long-distance hiking trail, the Goldsteig. Cyclists and mountain bikers also get their money's worth, with around 7,000 kilometres of leisurely cycle paths and challenging routes for the more ambitious.

In winter, holidaymakers can look forward to ideal winter sports conditions in the nearby Großer Arber ski area, which is considered the largest and most popular winter sports area in the Bavarian Forest.
