Landal Klein Oisterwijk is undergoing a major transformation. This is taking place in stages, with new, sustainable and luxurious holiday lodges being built over the next few years. The first 30 homes became available to rent at the end of August last year, and now the second phase of the superbly located holiday park between Tilburg, Eindhoven and Den Bosch is starting.

Hof van Saksen, the premium family resort in Nooitgedacht, Drenthe, continues to innovate its offering, so that guests can keep on exploring, relaxing and enjoying. Currently, all farmhouses are undergoing a total upgrade both in terms of space, luxury and comfort. An ambitious project in which all farmhouses will have a completely renovated living room, kitchen, dining room and bedrooms. High-quality brands and materials have been chosen and the best designers, including Studio Piet Boon, are being partnered with. Hof van Saksen receives over 190,000 guests every year at its resort and is a trendsetter and industry leader in many areas.

Landal Strand Resort Ouddorp Duin to be made more sustainable: between February and May, the Ledseco company from Stellendam will fit more than a hundred holiday homes with solar panels and charging stations or cabinets.

A new holiday park with 196 holiday homes is being built in Zwiesel, Germany (Bavarian Forest): Chalet Resort Arberland. The properties will be offered for sale on the German market to private investors and rented out through Landal GreenParks. Vakantiemakelaar.nl will handle sales in the Netherlands. The first phase of 34 holiday homes have been sold. Of these, eight have been completed and 26 are under construction. These are expected to be completed by the end of this year. Landal GreenParks will then start letting; booking opportunities will be available at the end of the summer. This will be Landal GreenPark’s twelfth holiday park in Germany.

As part of Landal Denmark’s sustainability strategy, we have been sponsoring Danish hospital clowns since 2017. The clowns visit children in Danish hospitals and spread joy and courage at an otherwise difficult time. Once again this year, a selection of Danish parks will be donning their red noses and supporting Danske Hospitalsklovne’s nationwide Klovneløb campaign. As in 2023, Landal Seawest, Rønbjerg and Søhøjlandet are organising clown races in the park, but this year Landal Grønhøj Strand will also take part in a race.

For the opening of the 2023/2024 ski season, Landal GreenParks, in collaboration with toy manufacturer Ravensburger, invited eight female influencers to visit the Landal parks Winterberg, Katschberg, Maria Alm, Hochmontafon, Brandnertal and Bad Kleinkirchheim. To diversify the target group, besides families, young influencers were also invited to a couples and friends’ weekend at Landal.

Landal GreenParks is adding another two new holiday resorts to its portfolio in the United Kingdom. These are Landal Whalesborough Resort and Spa in Cornwall and Landal Twin Lakes in the Lake District, both popular holiday regions – also among Dutch guests. This brings the total number of Landal GreenParks holiday parks in the United Kingdom to 17. The resorts open this spring.

Landal GreenParks is expanding with a unique holiday park in Saint Hubert. The existing park is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, by a river and amid mountains. The park opens on 29 March. Guests can book one of the wooden Tiny Houses from 25 January. This brings the number of Landal holiday parks in Belgium to six.

Landal Barnsoul, our first managed park in the UK welcomed its first guests in September. We partnered with architects and interior designers to help create the newest and most innovative holiday resort in the United Kingdom.

In Denmark, the summer of 2023 was historic in many ways. There had never been so much rain in July before as in 2023 and we had never received so many guests at Landal GreenParks' Danish holiday parks. 

At Landal Domein De Schatberg, they are bringing the outdoors inside with a new indoor forest playground! Here, children aged up to twelve can have hours of fun with activities such as discovering the forest ranger’s house or climbing and scrambling on the large Softplay playground equipment. 

Landal GreenParks took a fantastic third place in a Danish top 50 with many well-known brands. One of our most important objectives is to create fantastic guest experiences, so this recognition from Danish consumers shows we are on the right track, and it is a well-earned pat on the back for all the dedicated staff that made this possible. Market analysis firm Wilke assessed more than 300 companies in 10 different industries on their ability to create amazing customer experiences.

Arber Investment GmbH has started the construction of the first 196 new holiday homes in Zwiesel (Bavarian Forest). The construction of the residences was launched at an official event on 16 June. Alongside representatives from the municipalities and district, all of the project partners involved were in attendance to celebrate this milestone in the development together.

A group of 15 influencers and nature lovers spent a day visiting the main island of Marker Wadden by invitation.
They were given a guided tour by Elsa Pater from our partner Natuurmonumenten (the Dutch Society for Nature Conservation). The party was particularly impressed by the splendour of nature in this newest part of the Netherlands and a number of fine posts have already appeared on social media.

It is one Landal GreenParks’ goals to achieve a high level of occupancy all year round, which contributes to higher revenue and therefore a higher yield for homeowners. In order to have a high level of occupancy, the holiday homes also need to be booked during the week and in the low season. This is when primary and secondary school camps come in.

Landal GreenParks once again most sustainable brand of holiday park providers in the Netherlands

Two new parks, Landal Laceby Manor and Landal Marwell Resort, have been added to Landal portfolio in the UK, with reservations having been available as of 17 January 2023.

In order to welcome guests with a fresh look for the coming summer season, Landal GreenParks is carrying out extensive renovations and modernisations at four holiday parks in Rhineland-Palatinate, with modern kitchens, more spacious terraces, stylish furniture and a new restaurant being created.
