Landal GreenParks inaugurates its 100th holiday park with Landal Berger Duinen
With the inauguration of Landal Berger Duinen, the newest Landal GreenParks holiday park on the coast near the Noord-Holland villages of Bergen and Schoorl, Landal GreenParks is celebrating its 100th holiday destination. From the humble beginnings of bungalow park Rabbit Hill at Nieuw Milligen (Veluwe) and the foundation of future Landal GreenParks, the company has now grown into an international rental organisation of holiday park destinations in nine European countries.
Experience and expertise
The holiday provider is an international leader in the management, administration and exclusive rental of recreational parks. Over the years, Landal GreenParks has accumulated vast experience and expertise in the design and construction of recreational parks, accommodation, amenities and facilities. In the orientation phase with landowners, project developers and investors, Landal is an excellent partner both in the Netherlands as well as abroad.
Landal offers its guests a wide selection of high-quality accommodations, set amidst beautiful nature and with a great variety of accommodation types, ranging from the North Sea coast to the Danish beaches, from forests and heather landscape to the Alps or the reclaimed land of Marker Wadden.
Extremely proud
“We are extremely proud to inaugurate our 100th holiday park today. Landal GreenParks has grown into a significant player in the field of hospitality and sustainability. This also confirms our front runner position in the leisure market. And although the selection is incredible, we will not stop at a hundred. We are currently fast-tracking our growth and are developing multiple holiday parks, ranging from some in the permit application stage to others that are practically completed,” explains Dirk Anbeek, the general director of Landal GreenParks. “COVID-19 has generated a huge demand for holiday residences, both from guests and investors. The trend for holidays close to home in a peaceful nature setting will only increase in the coming years and we are preparing some beautiful projects for this target group. We are at the brink of a new phase in which we, after approval, will continue to pursue international expansion, together with Roompot.”
High-quality projects
Kopare, the developer of Landal Berger Duinen, has already been an important partner for a number of years, as the preferred developer of recreational parks for Landal GreenParks in the Netherlands and abroad.
Kopare director Klaas Odink: “We guarantee high quality projects and have been building beautiful leisure residences for Landal GreenParks for many years.” Director Klaas Odink has been responsible for numerous projects, including the unique Landal Esonstad project at Lauwersmeer, the expansions of existing Landal parks, such as the sustainable residences and a unique tree house at Landal Miggelenberg, and the sustainable makeover of energy-neutral accommodations at Landal Mont Royal. In 2022, only two kilometres away, we will inaugurate Landal Résidence Berger Duinen, a small scale park with 15 luxury holiday residences on spacious lots, near the village centre of Schoorl. We also have new developments planned in Belgium and in Germany.
Landal Berger Duinen
The 72 luxury freestanding holiday residences at Landal Berger Duinen feature several configurations, including a luxury and an extra luxury wellness version, with a lounge bath, outdoor fireplace and thatched roof. There will be a reception building with a small mini-market and bike rental. The nearby villages of Schoorl and Bergen offer comprehensive facilities and bike rides through the largest dune area in the Netherlands. Guests can also explore the artist town of Bergen, the seaside resort of Bergen aan Zee and the picturesque centre of Schoorl. The location of Landal Berger Duinen is also ideal for day trips to the historic cities of Alkmaar, Hoorn or Amsterdam.
