Camping in luxury safari tents at Landal Gooise Heide

Landal GreenParks has its own campsites at seven of its holiday parks in the Netherlands and Germany. Guests can soon stay at the holiday provider’s first campsite in Het Gooi. Landal Gooise Heide is a campground in a natural environment surrounded by the lovely heathland areas between Huizen and Blaricum. In the first phase, 45 luxury safari tents are being installed, including toilet and washing facilities, a kitchen and running water. The safari tents can be booked from 1 July this year. 

Friendly atmosphere in natural wooded surroundings
Landal Gooise Heide has four-, five- and six-person safari tents available, which can be booked up to mid-October. We expect to install another 70 luxury tents in the second phase in April 2022. The first part of the wonderfully located 7.7-hectare terrain, including the reception building, is currently being prepared for use. The terrain is car-free, and activities can take place under the various tarpaulin canopies. Four central activity tents are being installed and there is a playground for children. Various activities are offered by Sporthart ’t Gooi, already present at the location. The terrain oozes a friendly atmosphere in natural wooded surroundings, and it is an excellent destination for families with children.

Inspiring surroundings
Landal Gooise Heide is on the Woensbergweg in Huizen, enclosed by the Huizer Eng Nature Reserve and the Warandepark. This area is known for its thatched farmhouses, rolling heathlands and the Gooi sheep flock. The surrounding area of Laren and Blaricum inspired artists such as Mauve and Mondriaan and Het Gooi Nature Reserve, with popular outings such as De Schaapskooi Blaricummerheide (sheepfold) and the Speelbos ’t Laer (recreational forest), is in the vicinity. The region also has a well-maintained walking and cycling route network.
